Great service, super fast, not really crowded. This is my second time here and it was pretty good. We didn't get to enjoy a lot of the things I ate last time (work was paying for that trip) because it's EXPENSIVE! You do get a decent amount of food but $75+ for a dish...? I think not. I also tried some noodle soup my mom ordered that was served as cold as ice. It's supposed to be that way, I just couldn't get on board with it. I like my soup hot. Lastly, my trout was a tad overcooked, but pretty tasty. All in all, if you can afford an expensive lunch, the pricy food is tasty.

Yummm! I love visiting Maht Gaek! The food is consistently delicious. Some of my favorite dishes include the original pork ribs and the spicy cold buckwheat noodles. The restaurant is nice and clean, and the staff is always friendly. I've visited at various times of the day, and it's always busy, so be prepared for a wait, especially during peak hours.

It wasn't bad. I'm impressed at the quality found in Texas. Soup and banchan can't compare to LA/OC.
